Our Legacy

Mr. Khawaja Muhammad Kalim was a great visionary businessman, educationist and philanthropist. He was born on 25th June 1943 in Peshawar in an affluent business family. He was the grandson of Hakeem Abdul Jaleel and Hafiz Naseer Ahmad who were both prominent religious, business and political figures of their era.


With a degree in Electrical Engineering from UET Peshawar in 1969, Mr. Kalim set out for Saudi Arabia where his command in his field and relentless effort to achieve things that were unthinkable in the Middle East at the time. The Royal family acquired his help for more than a decade in various industrial projects which ultimately led him into the real estate business in New York, Islamabad and Peshawar in the early 80’s – expanding till date as per his vision.


After these monumental achievements he took early retirement to be able to work as a philanthropist and humanitarian, working with several charity causes while continuing to be an inspiring success story, a great son, brother, friend, husband and father. Mr. Kalim passed away on 19th Nov 2001 but lives on in the hearts of all those who knew him. And will do so forever..

With a vast bouquet of degrees from top universities including Real Estate degree from Steven L. Newman Real Estate Institute, City University – New York in 2003; Masters & Bachelors degrees in Computer Sciences from New York University and GIK University in 2000 and 1998 respectively, Mr. Junaid Kalim has been at the helm of affairs taking his Father Mr. Khawaja Kalim’s real estate vision to new horizons across the globe. Apart from building a formidable real estate portfolio through rental properties, construction projects & real estate investments in Islamabad, Gwadar, Peshawar, Dubai, Istanbul & New York since 2000, Mr. Junaid Kalim has been a very active member of TiE (The Indus Entrepreneurs – Islamabad), Board Member of OPEN (Organization of Pakistani Entrepreneurs of North America –Islamabad), member of EO (Entrepreneurs’ Organization – Islamabad) as well as the recently Elected President of the GIKI Alumni Association. While in 2021, also becoming the Board Member & CEO of Kalim Developers (pvt) Ltd., Mimar Sinan Developers (pvt) Ltd., and Rakaposhi Developers (pvt) Ltd. for Real Estate Vertical Developments.

In 2006 Mr. Junaid Kalim also founded Kalim Trust, which has been sponsoring & supporting free food centers and orphanages for needy families in & around Islamabad, Rawalpindi and Peshawar.
